Treymaurice Nyoni (born 30 June 2007) is an English footballer who plays as a midfielder for Liverpool. Nyoni signed from the Leicester City Academy in 2023, before making his Liverpool debut a year later.

Liverpool career

A very promising talent at Leicester, Nyoni moved to Liverpool in 2023 and immediately went into the club's U18s side. In his first month at the club, he scored the winning goal in the "mini-derby" against Everton's youth side.

His impressive performances saw Nyoni begin training with the first-team, and he had his first senior involvement in November 2023, as an unused substitute in a Premier League win over Brentford.

On 28 February 2024, Nyoni made his Liverpool debut, coming on as a late substitute in a 3-0 win over Southampton in the FA Cup. At 16 years and 243 days, he became the youngest ever Liverpool player to feature in this competition, and the club's third youngest of all time.

This was his only appearance in the 2023-24 season, but he was given a more prominent role in pre-season under new manager Arne Slot. Pre-season also saw him score his first Liverpool goal, albeit in a friendly, firing in the fourth in a 4-1 win over Sevilla at Anfield.

Nyoni made his first competitive appearance of the season on 30 October 2024, coming on as a substitute in a 3-2 win away to Brighton in the EFL Cup. On 18 December he made his first start, playing 86 minutes in a 2-1 win at Southampton in the quarter-final of the same competition.
