Thomas Armstrong (born 1898) was an English footballer who played for Liverpool in 1920 as a goalkeeper. He made just one appearance for Liverpool.
Liverpool career[]
Armstrong joined Liverpool in early 1920, but with goalkeepers Ken Campbell and Elisha Scott already at the club his chances were always going to be limited. This proved true as Armstrong made just one appearance during his time at the club. This appearance came against Sheffield Wednesday, then known as The Wednesday, in a 2-2 draw on 13 March 1920. After around half a year at the club, he moved to Preston North End in June 1920 on a free transfer.
