Nathan Geoffrey Junior Eccleston (born 30 December 1990) is an English professional footballer currently playing as a striker for Liverpool. He has also had loan spells at Huddersfield and Charlton.

Liverpool Career

Eccleston was signed from Burnley at the age of 15 in 2006. Eccleston quickly rose through the ranks at the youth and reserves, to win his first place in a senior squad when he was named in the Champions League squad on 6 September 2009. His first start came shortly after on 28 October 2009 against Arsenal in a League Cup tie. He played his first League match for Liverpool against Fulham on 31 October 2009, coming on as a 78th minute substitute for Yossi Benayoun.
