Jamie Frank Redknapp (born 25 June 1973) is a retired English international midfielder. He played for Liverpool from 1991 until 2002, when he signed for Tottenham.
Liverpool career[]
Redknapp signed for Liverpool from Bournemouth for £350,000 on 15 January 1991 at the age of 17. He was the last signing of Kenny Dalglish's first term as manager. He made his debut on 23 October 1991 against Auxerre in the UEFA Cup 2nd round 1st leg, when he came on as a 79th minute substitute. His first goal in a Liverpool shirt on 7 December 1991 against Southampton.
After spending 11 years at Anfield, Redknapp joined Tottenham Hotspur on 18 April 2002 on a free transfer. He had made 308 appearances in all competitions, scoring 41 goals.
