David N'Gog (born 1 April 1989) is a French striker currently playing for Liverpool. He was signed by Rafael Benitez from Paris Saint-Germain in 2008.

Liverpool career

N'gog signed for Liverpool from PSG in July 2008 for a reported fee of £1,500,000. He made his debut in the pre season friendly against Villareal on 30 July 2008. He scored his first goal on 2 August 2008. N'Gog made his league debut against Aston Villa on 31 August 2008. His first competitive goal came in the Champion's League group stage match against PSV Eindhoven on 9 December 2008. N'Gog made his first start against Portsmouth on 7 February 2009. His first Premier league goal came on 3 March 2009 in the 2-0 home win against Sunderland.

Due to N'Gog's age and low scoring return he has mostly been used as a substitute during his career at Liverpool, starting only when senior strikers were sidelined due to injury.
