David Oluwaseun Segun Amoo (born 13 April 1991) is an English professional footballer who played as a striker for Liverpool from 2007 to 2012. Amoo had been on three previous loan spells away from Liverpool. One at Milton Keyne's Dons, one at Hull City and another at Bury, before joining Preston North End on a permanent deal.

Liverpool career[]

Amoo arrived at Liverpool from Millwall on 11 July 2007, who beat off many other clubs to acquire him. After three seasons in the youth setup, manager at the time Roy Hodgson gave Amoo his debut in competitive football against Rabotnicki on 29 July 2010 in the Europa League qualifying stages.

Despite this, Amoo has failed to break into the first team squad, and on 23 September 2011 it was confirmed that he had been loaned out to League One side Bury for one month. On 20 October 2011, Amoo's loan deal with Bury was extended to 2 January 2012, and then again until the end of the 2011-12 season.

In May 2012 it was confirmed that Amoo's contract would run out at the end of the month and he would join Preston North End.
