Charity Shield finals involving Liverpool. Note- the Shield was renamed the Community Shield in 2002. During the 1980s and early 1990s, a drawn game saw the Shield awarded jointly to the two finalists. In 1993, penalties were re-introduced to determine the sole winner in the event of a draw.
